Ingredients for Wheat Almond Rose Halwa Recipe

  • AASHIRVAAD Atta - ½ cup
  • Almond - 1 cup
  • Pistachios - ¼ cup
  • Rose Petals - 2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • AASHIRVAAD Ghee - ¼ cup
  • Rose Water - 2 tsp
  • Cloves - 4
  • Water - ¼ cup
  • Milk - ½ cup
  • Saffron - A pinch

How to prepare Wheat Almond Rose recipe at home? 

  • Add boiling water to a cup of almonds and let it rest for approximately 20 minutes. Now peel off the skin of the almonds.
  • Coarsely grind the almonds and keep aside.
  • In a small bowl, add some milk to saffron and let it rest.
  • In a non-stick pan, dry roast the atta for approximately 7-8 minutes until it turns slightly brown.
  • Take the roasted atta out and add ghee to the pan. Once the ghee is hot, add cloves and let them splutter.
  • Add ground almonds to this and roast them for few minutes.
  • Add the roasted atta and ½ cup sugar and mix everything well.
  • Add saffron milk and mix. Keep stirring.
  • Once the milk is completely absorbed, add water and cook further until the water is completely absorbed.
  • Add the remaining ½ cup sugar and keep stirring until the ghee starts to separate from the halwa.
  • Now add rose water, rose petals, and mix well.
  • Let the halwa cool a little and serve it topped with chopped pistachios and rose petals.
